Anyone here climbed in the Tetons?

Impressions?
Is whole Exum Ridge reasonable to do in a day from a high camp?
How long would you spend there if you had three weeks in Wyoming and Colorado?

climbed there ages ago. i think pingora and devils tower are better climbing areas. tetons are more mountaineering.
yes, if you camp at 9000ft in the summer, no worries, make sure you have loads of water before you get above 10000ft
pingora (cirque) pretty easy walk-in. dreadful mozzies !!!! bring triple amount of mozzie spray.
devil's tower, long way to go, but worth it.
i assume you have partners cause finding random partners for anywhere in wyoming is a serious struggle.

+1 on that but note it's closed for climbing in June
Come to think of it, as the first National Park in the US I suspect it's closed right now until the Fed Governement shutdown ends.....

Pingora is on the top of the hit list. We've been debating Devils Tower - seems a long drive - might just play it by ear. (Like if weather turns bad we might as well be in the car.)

Devils tower is worth the drive.
Some nice scenery on the way, and you could stop in at ten sleep for a couple of days though the cracks there are bolted it's still nice climbing.

If you are in Wyoming, don’t miss the wind river range. One week just for Cirque of the Towers and Deep Pass.

We did a couple of big long day routes from the bottom in the Tetons, but it was too much effort to get any overnight permits. Apparently the Tetons are the most guided routes in the USA.

Eldo canyon Is worth your time.
