Hi Guys,

I'm currently looking at going to Vietnam at some point this year and I feel it would be amiss if I didn't try the climbing there. Having not travelled overseas all that much I am sure I'm going to fall into some pretty simple traps and would love to hear any experiences with climbing overseas in general, and hopefully more specifically, Vietnam.

I have a few specifics:
How "noob" friendly is the climbing in Vietnam? I've been climbing for about 2 years now however I'm only scraping in the 19-20s on sport and 16-17 on trad.

What gear should I take?

What travel insurance features should I be looking out for/ need?
