Drove out of the bush camp about 5 pm tonight to find the gate closed. Fair call, I don't think you could get through with a 2WD at the moment and it's so soaked any driving would make the road a lot worse.
My car doesn't have sufficient clearance for the road anyway and we walked from the bush camp. Takes about an hour 15 minutes and it's a total pain in the arse. Excellent climbing though.
