As was advised earlier just head straight to Blackheath and get down to The Glen, Shipley, Porters Pass etc. Since you are only there for a short time there probably isn't any need to go anywhere else, hey even if you are there for a long time there is no need to go anywhere else. I guess Bardens would be another area well worth visiting with plenty of quality sport routes in the grades you are after, maybe even New York as well, especially if it is windy. Bowens is nice but for the grades you are climbing you will get better value elswhere.
