Having worked in that area for over a year, I would only recommend climbing if:
a) you are sick of living and want to die in a beautiful semi-remote location;
b) you can't find any decent rock anywhere else;
c) you are practicing for climbing in the Dolomites; or
d) you want to give deer hunters a novelty target.
The rock is blobby conglomerate and is not well consolidated. A lead fall may creating more than a plummeting climber.
Dandongadale Falls are the highest falls in Victoria, and will be pumping this time of year. You will find SFA about them on the net. The roads will be getting wet and slippery, so if you wanted to go up to the lake you would need 4WD, and possibly a chainsaw. The back roads from Buller are closed now, so access is only from the King Valley side.
