If your tips sweat as much as Neils then 10 degrees is perfect ticking conditions. If you have cold hands like me you will be in agony. I like balmy days as long as I'm in the shade. So depends how you go.
I was kindly taken to Taipan a couple of years ago in July and its the only time I've not taken my down jacket off to climb, it was that cold. Got the hot aches after seconding Will on a new route on lower Taipan. But then the sun never came out that day- I expect it could be quite pleasant in the right conditions.
