The tourist lookout at Mount Blackheath sits more or less above a right-angle corner of cliffline. Looking out the north-facing cliff is to the right and to the left is a west-facing cliff. There are climbs along both these cliffs for about 100 metres in either direction from the corner.
To my knowledge there have been at least four separate periods of development on these walls. Bob and Lucille Ryan climbed there with Jack Higgs (and others); the ubiquitous George Owens climbed there; and Ron Miller, Kevin Westren and Harry Luxford subsequently developed climbs there.
And of course John Ewbank's route "Arc de Triomphe" is located there, a fair distance south along the west-facing cliff.
In addition, it would not surprise me to learn that Andrew Penney did some exploration (and climbing?) there as well.
There is a scramble+abseil descent route more or less below the lookout (requires caution) and by walking east along the top of the cliff past the north-facing wooden Hang Glider Launch Ramp you eventually come to a gully that feeds down to the base of the cliff.
