After one too many recent experiences with vertical gardening, I'm looking for advice on routes in the blueys that are a bit obscure but that have seen some traffic in the past decade. It's still a little hot for noon-day sunbaking, so shady characters would be appreciated. Bolt clipping has it's appeal, but to start with let's stick with routes that are predominantly gear, have a big wall feel and are at least 3 pitches, and are best done in rock shoes rather than hiking boots. Has anyone done one recently that they would recommend, or alternatively, warn others off?

My list so far:

Pierces Pass: my kind of bliss (good), colours of spring (good), big trad thong (P2 and 3 are a bit too loose for my liking), Skyrider (good, 1st pitch now quite clean)
Katoomba cliffs: ice (good), genghis khan (not so good).
Boyce: Firebug (classic)
