Yup! Beginners can. In fact it's a rather good spot for beginners as the cliffs are not to tall, there many easy, stared routes and access is almost as easy as the gym.. It's a nice walk in and a pleasent day out. Be warned though, it's blistering hot in summer, with some shade later in the day, the rock is rather suspect *a place of constant geological change..* and the loose stones regurally make their way off the cliff top which makes helmets essential, even when you're not climbing.
