The Highball is a stiff webbing hinged mat of very generous proportions. It is filled with three layers of high density foam around a central layer of conventional open cell. The advantages are that the tougher high density layers spread the force of the landing climber on the top side and also help lessen the effects of uneven ground/rocks on the underside.

A comfortable rucksack style carrying system complete with waistbelt can be quickly changed to an over the shoulder style arrangment. The closure flaps are secured with alloy buckles. The closure flaps help secure items you might want to carry inside your folded pad and prevent them faling out! Two rubber moulded carrying handles are ideal for moving the pad when in situ or for carrying as a 'suitcase'. Extra loops and straps are provided to clip and secure an additional bag etc on the outside when carrying. Also provided is a carpet square to clean your rockshoes before you start.
