Going to try the suffering of aid climbing to see if it is for me. Plan is to get on Passport to Insanity and Ozymandias in late feb...

Wanted:
2x ascenders
2x daisys
2x aiders (prefer ladder style)
fifi hook
belay seat

I am 193cm tall.

It seems like quite a lot of people aid one or both of these routes and not much else? So surely there is a bunch of aid gear sitting in people's gear rooms collecting dust?

Liberate your aid assets and turn them into cash today!

If you can't get a fifi, don't fret, as they are easily improvised/made by taping open the gate of a krab, or if you want a captive eye one, then buy a D shackle from cheap hardware and cut off about 1/3 portion of it containing the threaded eyelet, so that it becomes a hook!

Belay seats are easily also improvised from a suitable piece of wood drilled and a couple of slings fitted.

Although ascenders and aiders can be improvised, it is usually more efficient to go with any of the manufactured items.
