Do you stick clip the first bolt? 15-Nov-2010 At 4:14:34 PM macciza

Why stop at just the first bolt? Why not just clip the f'n chains and be done it with it ?
And they probably all used over-engineered bits of tech - not even a bloody stick; so maybe it should be called 'hi-tech clipping' . . .
'Spurt' climbing moves even closer to Aid when you do this: you use aid's to put the rings in for aiding you when you climb and then use aids to get of the ground as well????

None of the 'lugic' presented makes sense to me - I'd love to see how they get to the crag in the first place - helmet as they drive in their car (just in case), maybe some trekking poles or crutches to help them walk in (in case they twist an ankle) and probably heat proof gloves and lip creme so they don't burn themselves on their half strength, half lite soy, decaf whathaveyou justdon'tcallitcoffee . . .

Basically I HATE stick clipping, hate even contemplating stick clipping, I am almost at the point of hating sticks fullstop. I like to climb stuff!!!
