I was climbing at Werribee Gorge a few months ago and told the parents of two children about the regular rockfall and high level of danger given the number of people at the crag. They both nodded, and thanked me for my advice, and then promptly did nothing about it.
I didn't stop feeling fearful but I did feel like I had done the right thing. I reckon speak up, you would feel awful for a very long time if you had anything to do with injuring a child. |
