a recent study *i will drag up the authors when i can be bothered lol* also showed that for strength training, protein must be consumed no more then 30 minutes post work out in order to recieve gains. Consumption of carbohydrates however had absolutely no effect. Obviously, if you're performing more aerobic type activities and the break between sessions is small then carbs would be a good idea |
