guys

the insurer is UK based, i have to check the policy wording to see what their definition of emergency medical repatriation is (i just dont have time today).

The person who put me in contact with the insurer is the broker advertised on the NZAC website, the insurer can expand cover for non residents (ie non NZ residents) however there are some taxation issues for premium calculation and also some Financial Services Reform act implications that i need to check out before it could be "sold" within australia

It may well be easier just to deal direct with the NZ broker, instead of setting up a facility within australia to do so.

There may also be issues regarding Unauthorised Foreign insurers and with limitations of cover under prescribed insurances..

just need time to check it all out
