i wouldnt do south face of aconcagua if you paid me... thats just suicide.. some one on another site was suggesting a ski descent of it.. hope they have a parachute!
apparently the south face of mercedario requires one to pre-acclimate around base camp or the surrounding hills as once the climb is committed to, there is no camp until you pass the ice ramp (5,000ft) thats a lot of altitude to gain in a day!!
the inca route (normal route) is straight forward, similar to the non-tech lines up aconcagua, im looking for something a bit more interesting..
