Last winter I saw some dude there going on about the proposed flying fox. He seems totally clueless - couldn't find the descent gully and was stumbling around looking for the specific tree to anchor the rig on. (The tree was marked with yellow tape over near the warm-up wall). He told me the flying fox would span the valley and that at least one massive tree would need to be removed. I think they also big plans for a platform on the other side (the trenches) and a path from one side to the other. Whole concept seemed destructive and lame, glad it knocked on the head. I never thought they would have the competence and audacity to try it.
