If you look at the google map view the plateau with Valley View Rd on it and (presumerably Karen's property) is the plateau to the NORTH of the old Dargan Creek climbing area (as developed by UNSW folks & others in the late 70s). There was a big chasm to the left of the leftmost (northern) climbs at Dargans; this shows up in the google map at -33.503399,150.252156 .. No-one (to my recollection) ever walked that far up the valley; some of us did climb on the cliff on the opposite side of that valley.
The old DC area (that we walked up to from the farm in the Hartley V floor, having gained permission) is the cliffs on the west and south of the plateau to the south of the above referenced point . Dargans Creek cliffline was very much a bolt free zone.
