Allow ' The HEX ' to give you a clue , dude : That's Cerro Torre on the left & Torre Egger on the right .

Luv, HEX THE ALPINISTE.

thanks CJ ... but no joy
I bought them (mumbles) second hand off a guy that had them for around two years, pretty much never been used, along with some other gear he was selling. It could be my terminology is wrong but they look very similar to the wild country (rigid) forged cams.
the differences are a: not shiney/ polished like the wild country,
b: no colour coding on the heads
c: in front of the trigger all have two holes in the shaft ( WC varies I think)
d: all rated 15 Kn, and have above logo, no other markings.
The sizes I have look to be from around 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 ( I am just guessing by looking at the cams on rock hardware)
All I know is that the guy bought them two years ago and really never used them.
thanks anyhow MM

They will be some eastern european 'brand' by the sounds of it. I have seen that logo somewhere else recently...

your description of the cams sounds like AMIGOS, (Spanish made "friends"). Although the ones that my friend has (that are 20 years old) have no markings barr the word AMIGO stamped into the shaft.

The logo looks very similar to the old Mountain Designs logo (circa early 1980s)?

It might even be stuff made by Rob Stasewski (sp?) who made some gear in Qld about the same time as Mountain Designs started spreading their wings (i.e. early 80s). Rob made some specialist climbing gear including a single-point hammock that I still have, can't remember what name he traded under but I recall he used Cerro Torre and Torre Egger as part of his logo. Might have been Torre Mountain Equipment or similar.

I don't think Squeak made cams for Torre Mountain Craft.

Tel - chuck it into google image search with the terms 'mountain logo', 'peak logo, or 'pinnacle logo' etc. and you get page after page of stuff. You might spot it there?

Cheers,
Rupert

Rob Staszeski's brother used to own/run Torre, but I've never heard of any cams being made either.

thanks to all those that had a crack at it, but the solution may be solved, general consensus (after visiting my fav climbing store) is that they are MSR cams, apparently MSR made cams some time ago but after downsizing and reorganising and a modification to logo, they stopped the manufacturing of them, the other upside is that they appear to made of titanium, and as a consequence are worth a bomb, so it seems I may (and I mean may) have jagged it and gotten more than my monies worth. again, thanks appreciate it.

Rupert I will give that a go and I will try and check out the other suggestions also.
