I think your pretty right there. I don't think it has a huge affect on localised endurance in the forearms but if there is less 'resistance' to the exercise in the rest of the body you have to be at least one step ahead.
I have no formal education in sports science. That may have been obvious. It's just my theory from all the reading and training I have done over the last 20 years of riding/racing and climbing. Just to somewhat qualify my comments. |
