I have to agree with Jimbo, that putting on the draws is for bragging rights only. I mean hey, this is sport climbing we're talking about is'nt it. Ring bolts and all that. The gear (as in the bolts) are already pre-placed so it doesnt matter. If you place your own bolts and draws on lead then kudos to you, extra extra bragging points. You dont see Sharma or Dave Graham with 10 draws hanging off their harness in the Dosage DVD's.

And definitely down climbing to the ground is fine by me, I mean what about down climbing to a jug, or even a ledge, its the same thing. I know your not allowed to in comps, but thats indoors. The point is to get from the bottom of the route to the top without weighting your harness, if you do that the climbs done.

Funny sight the other day was a friend belaying with his T-shirt over his head so he couldn't see the climb and still have a shot at onsighting the climb. Hilarious.
