I will add, I dont have a problem with bold routes. some grade 21s are way harder than others cause of the balls required to lead them and thats Ok.

but i dont see why crags should be a museum to the egos of the FAists.
They are a resource for all of us and should be managed as a resource not a museum.

I am not trying to pass the buck to the FAist and All climbers have to make there own judgement on a route. A FAist expecting a route to remain crappy, carrots and sparse or dodgey natural gear isnt about "respect" it is about "ego"

If you climb at nowra you expect to be clipping up routes. If you want bold routes got to point perp down the road. Horses for courses.
