please stay away from helmet cams, they have their place as a novelty angle but not as a main camera... grigri & ascender, as qman says, works well if you are going up and down a lot in a short space of rope. for long pitches take 2 ascenders/ets & a grigri. on single pitch stuff i actually use a Petzl 'ID' a lot nowdays because you dont have to take if off the biner to put the rope in... if you have access to one then use it, but im not sure that it would be worth the money to buy one if you dont. also, get yourself a chest harness- means you can lean about to get different angles without shaking because your core is workin so much overtime to hold you there...
