Seriously though, my view of it has always been that trad uses natural gear (ie removable), ground-up ascent, cleaned by the seconder. Sport is pre-bolted whether or not you decide to pre-place the draws. Some cross-pollenation occurs when pre-placing natural gear but i spose that then doesn't count as a ground-up ascent anyway. |
