the question was asked if it was ok to (1) re-equip, (2) rename, & (3) remove an aid ladder. I don't think anyone is really complaining about re-equiping (execpt the NSW heathens who insist about discussing their ring-holes constantly..). People here have issues with the (2) & (3). There no precedent for renaming freed aid lines in Australia, the name's cool, so why bother renaming it.

Point (3) is similar to 7th Pillar - some people still use Taipan & Lower Taipan as an aid training venues, ugly as it may be, that's reason enough to leave the aid ladder.

otherwise go for it! it'd be good for Gilgamesh to be freed finally.
