Although I can see that this is fast decending into the Trad v Sport arguments Neil mentioned over on Docs Rant thread, I can't help chip in here.

You guys railing against fully(I mean really fully) bolted crags like Opierre is really just doing exactly what the sport climbers are doing in suggesting that everywhere should be like that.

It is not sad that there are fully bolted limestone crags, cause there are people that like them. Its not sad that there are scary trad ethic crags, cause there are people that like them. Its not sad that there are mixed routes, cause there are people that like them. Climb at the crags you like and not at the ones you don't. Sabu - maybe some people want bolts next to gear, so what's sad about it being the case (Opierre's hardly an appropriate trad crag anyway).

What would be really sad was if any of you lot (well not all of you, but the crazy 'my way of the highway' ones) got your way and everything was the same.
