Issuing gym ropes for lead climbing seems a little crazy to me. How can the gym monitor the type of falls taken on the rope? How can the gym moniter how the customers treat the rope?
Would you climb on a rope that you have no history of?
Climbing on your own rope you have all the back ground history of it etc etc...
I don't think it's a good idea climbing on a gym supplied rope. |
