Two ropes in the same biner is fine, so long as they are always in the same biner. The problem only arises when you variously clip one rope or two. That can result in there being quite different amounts of rope out for each rope, and different forces on each (as clipped to different pieces). Therefore they can foreseeably be in the same biner, under tension, but stretching/running different amounts.

The simple solution where you really want to do this is to just use two draws. Then its not an issue.
