Really? Funny how self-funded volunteers doing community work can get so much flack. Have you looked at the list of work they’ve been doing over the years (see Arapiles Re-bolting thread – page 7 - for details). If these guys are a bunch of tossers – then clearly you must think that the SCV are a bunch of wankers (and as for those Blue Mts drill-happy bastards…)

The bolt chopping has nothing to do with the NBF…

I think that last line sums the NBF up. They are motivated by good intentions. Their main goal is to install rap anchors where they deem appropriate, and replace ancient fixed gear. They are by no means retrobolters – though some instances have crossed the line (in some people’s opinions). Wake up and smell the roses – these guys are doing a good job, and getting no thanks for it.
