i've been experimenting (on a granite block in my back yard) with using a small cold chisel to create tapered slots for small wires. seemed like a nice way to protect a slabby thing i've been looking at at rock of ages. low visual profile.
2 questions:
where does this stand with the ethics police?
what are the odds that doing this will weaken the rock so the the protection offered isn't?
