Yep, cost can be a factor ..if the clubs have to pass on too many $ per member to the national body, it would make this approach less likely to get the VCC committee's approval - our membership has been declining a bit each year, so increases in membership fees is not something we're keen to do. But at $1 per member ...I think its a very feasible option.

5000 members ... do you think there are this many rock climbers in Aus?? (actually there might be that many at Araps this easter judging by the posts on the trips page... it'll be a long toilet queue...)
