Thats how I work.
It amazes me when some people recommend replacing crabs after 5 years. If that was the service life of aluminium, then we would have all sorts of stuff falling apart.
Look after your stuff, don't throw it in the dirt and walk all over it and it will last longer. Climbing gear is expensive.
Some of my stuff is the sort of age gfdonc is talking about and I have no problem with using it.
If you no longer have confidence in some thing replace it. |
