Calm down Chris – I don’t think anyone’s going to retro-bolt (there’s that word again) any of the beloved HB creations on Taipan. If you’re referring to my brief proposition regarding Mirage – well it was merely that, based on quite a few people’s opinions (some of whom are very good climbers indeed) of what seems to be a shonky placement (in between 2 original bolts no less). This mutated version of fixed gear and runouts has never made much sense to me – but then I’m an ‘all or nothing’ kinda guy.
Point taken on the Snowblind affair – now that the gears out – it would be good to leave it at that.
