On friday the 3rd of march at the organpipes car park on Mt Wellington in Hobart between 11:30 and 2:30 a orange 1981 corrola station wagon with a yellow smiley face on the back was broken into, although this is not an uncommon occurance (my car has been stolen out right twice in the last year despite an engin imobiliser and also broken into 3 times) this time the consiquences where quite extreem. What was taken? one red macpac pursuit a nice looking pack containing my old purple summit sleeping bag, red MD bivvy bag, 3/4 thermarest rest, blue pallin 1/2 zip softshell, macpac thermal insulated mercury suffering jacket allong with all of my clothes and a few other random things where taken. Some of my friends kindly pointed out that the local climbing gym had a notice posted warning that breakins to cars had been increased at this car park but this was unavoidiable as i had been real climbing for the entire summer far from the word gym only arriving home the day before from 4 mounths away and was also moving house so i would have taken the risk anyway.

Tassie is a small place someone should now exactly where it all is.

It would be nice if anyone could tell me anything about the whereabouts of my stuff especialy if you see it for sale or have it

Any abuse should be directed to my school email mjbeven@utas.edu.au and any kind consolences posted

They where kind enough to leave me my shoes, BMX and Jugs so i can become a nude BMXing aid climber some people have strainge fetishs.

All the gear was well loved and almost constantly in use very few people have the time or energy to destroy it all in this way.

Cheers
Darren
