- You mean like Take Five and Auto (both soloed on the first ascent) - prime examples. Also - take a look at Skink Connection (now written up as the start of Gollum). Grade 18 climbing up to the Skink overlap - but don't bother taking much of a rack for that one.

- completely unprotectable maybe not - but go and try Sufficiently Alarming, Run It Out Sucker or 100 Little Baby Bums - just take a good belayer who can run very fast - (or a couple of spotters).
