Sounds like you're not getting much training in at all mate. Have you switched tools and started training with a Woody yet? Less power required (you can keep your feet on) - and friendlier to the skin. Also much easier to hold onto if you've got no body tension (angle dependant of course).

Interesting to note that you "lack the motivation to keep going when your arms get pumped" when you're training solo. Maybe it's just the climate your training in. Put up a few decent pictures to get yourself motivated and turn on some tunes - that'll get you focused. Failing that - employ more than one training partner at a time - that's always good for motivation.
