I think its up to the climb and the climber!

Wether the climb has sufficient pro and if the climber ran out of pro!

I ran out of gear attempting a multi pitch at Rosea. With my climbing partner Gareth on a dodgy ledge belaying me on the last 25m I decided to sow up the station for peace of mind. Placing gear until the last 8m of the climb realizing all I had were 2 short slings and 2-3 huge, useless nuts. The climb narrowed to opposing greasy walls and my shoes were already wet and muddy. We were way off track on our climb and 6 hours on our first multi pitch.
