Maybe it's for the better that your jacuzzi experiment never took off Trish...

Bec's recently started climbing, and I've been having a ball taking her out. I've been revisiting some 3 star uber classics, like the Bard, most of the Watchtower face, Muldoon... It's mighty handy to have other friends nearby so we can nick off and do some scary stuff too.
I get a similar joy out of climbing with Bec that I did when I was teaching guitar. When someone's been frustrated and working on something for ages, it's priceless to see their face light up when it all clicks into place.

There's also the couple Rich mentioned in some other post - they were together for years, climbed at a mighty similar level, on the same trips to the same crags, with different climbing partners. I think it was probably really healthy for them, and avoided potentially nasty competion.
