We used to have a ' safety meeting ' before bouldering, took the edge off and reduced the desire to get too high ( pun intended ). Personally, bouldering without a smoke is like sex without a woman, it's ok but it's never quite as much fun. On the other hand I'm incapable of leading while stoned, too many doubts that what i'm doing is a good idea. and anyone who may be appalled that climbers could be drug users, how many of you know about Hermann Buhl and his amphetamines? and you should hear the stories that won't make it to a public forum. Needless to say my response to the OP is yes and as for the two wasters in the gym, I've a soft spot for natural selection. :-)
