Sabu, generally speaking, you don't "trip" on dope. (Paranoia, occasionally, and psychosis, quite possibly, particularly if you're a heavy teenage smoker, but not tripping in the "All of a sudden, the sky was filled with what looked like giant bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car" sense).

It's still my opinion that weed is a less harmful drug than alcohol. Whether that makes it a candidate for legalisation is a tricky one - equally, one could argue for the illegalisation of alcohol. But personally, of all the fights I've seen started by intoxicated people, approximately none have been started by someone who's baked.
