I once saw a girl at Bardens Lookout in the Blueys go for a whole trio. Bardens is generally a sport crag with nice shiney ring bolts but there are a few routes that require gear and those are clearly marked in the guide.

First up, she decides to get on Little Triggers 19, after racking up with a bunch of draws she gets about 5 or 6 metres up and is getting a bit nervous as there is still a fair way to go before a bolt, clueless "experienced" partner shouts up encouragement when I realise what she is doing and inform them that yes, as mentioned in the guide this route requires gear. After a bit of an epic backing off it is time for number 2.

Starman 22 follows a dead straight line of shiney ring bolts up a nice juggy wall after a cruxy section down low. Same girl gets through bottom crux section and continues upwards for another 4 or 5 metres before she realises that she is really run out, way off route, if that is possible, and would deck if she came off. Once again, after much whimpering she manages to back off.

Number 3, same girl goes back for some more, Hang On, 22. After getting through the pumpy start she gets the draw just below the crux but is too pumped to clip it, no problem, sometimes it is better just to push through, unless you are a moron that is. Said girl goes for the move, sticks it ok, gets to the jug and proceeds to panic, really panic. instead of sucking in a few breaths and relaxing she starts screaming before pitching off and slamming into the wall a fair distance below. Obviously she had no idea about the situation and the consequences of skipping a clip.

Some people should just stick to pulling on plastic.
