Gotta agree with Cheesehead there ....cod-liver oil is a good natural supplement if not eating well or enough of the Omega 3 stuff...I have to admit, recovery of the joints from long bushwalks with a heavy pack is also enhanced from the fishy oil.
My sis was given cod-liver supplements when discharged from emergency to help her recover from a broken hand.
Also, magnesium is good - avoids muscle cramps when diet is not catching up to the level of activity. I find it helps me get over thigh cramps from tele BC skiing :-) |
