My gripe is merely this: If you are so unhappy with the way you naturally are that you have to resort to protein shakes to lose weight, build muscle and recover quicker, then I say you'll never be happy with your performance level. Sure for now protein shakes and other supplements are harmless but as i said before it only leads you to other solutions when (again) you are not satisfied with yourself.

I'm not saying what's in a protein shake is necessarily bad - just that the reasons you choose to have them will probably mean you are subconsciously deciding level by level that supplements can only mean improvements. This is not a good mentality to have.
