I personally don't like the sound of supplement use. Sure it's effectively harmless (for now) but this sort of stuff has been used and abused in other sports and I'd hate to see climbing become one big competition of 'buffness' and steroid abuse. Also, imagine your bank balance runs out and you stop the supplements cold turkey after training frequently at high intensity. Im pretty sure that wouldn't do great things for your body. I like to eat healthily cos it makes me feel good as well as improving my body health for climbing. however i am human, and cos i climb intensly fairly regularly, i don't feel too bad about pigging out on the odd dinner of junk food. Also, you can speed up recovery by going for runs etc, increasing your aerobic fitness.
