The GPS won't need to be that large, an antenna about 30cm diameter will give you centimetric level accuracties if you post process the data.
Remember the moutain is growing about 8cm year anyway and the snow depth could be +-10m or more metres so I think it is all pretty academic.
The gerbils won't stop thowing themselves over cliffs in anticipation of knowing the actual height. |
