Really? ...Dunno about the Wolgan, but Tarana definitely gets very cold at that time of year for climbing, specially when is already cold in the Blueys - it runs right along the Great Diving Range!....I've climbed (read: tried) in snow/frost there in July, not enjoyable when smearing on small granite crystals....you can also find the odd icycle forming in the cracks too !....if you want access to facilities, the Lake Lyall campground is nearby, even has hot showers (take the road west from the Shell servo as you enter Lithgow).
