The way things are going at the moment the temperature will not be a problem. Last weekend was the first time this year I climbed in the sun. Winter in the Blueys is great, best conditions for sending for sure, places like Shipley and Bowens and even parts of the Glen get sun pretty much all day. I guess it can get a little cool at night but hey, that is what gas heaters are for. If it is windy then just head out to Bowens, the perfect winter crag.

As stated earlier, if you hang around Blackheath you are bound to meet someone heading to Shipley or some of the multitude of climbing areas nearby.

It is never too cold to climb during the winter up hear, it is just that some people are too soft ha ha, especially those travelling up from sydney for the day.
