I have a similar edelrid cord but it's 10.5 60m I love it, handles well and so far it wearing better than my previous ropes. My last three ropes have been 60m but i only realy use the extra 10 m for a bit of set up if top ropeing. Only ever realy needed the rope once at Booromba rocks when we got lost and decided to ab out. I abseiled down to the knot and realised that i was still bout 3m from the ground! Undid the knot and droped the 2m, I sure as hell didn't wanna prussik up 60m of dynamic. One complaint though, it seems to kink a bit when lowering or abseiling with an ATC, I bought a SBGII and it works ace!
