I do a fair bit of bouldering and to be honest after a while I find it boring. I enjoy the ability to do insane moves I would never achieve on a route and the ability to climb by myself but i don't find it nearly as personally satisfying as climbing. The setting is also generally far less enjoyable. On the danger side I have got myself in worse positions bouldering than climbing. And have had worse injuries.
