The word from the rangers is blackberry nightshade is trying to establish itself after the fires. It will be a good weed to remove from the crag area while its still reshooting; having this pest running over the crag and access track is bad news!

Other than that, the native veg around the south west corner of the headland is coming back vigorously after all the recent rains, great stuff. We will put some signs up on the working bee this Sat advising people to stick to the two signposted tracks.

For those interested, there will be a posse doing a circumnavigation of the headland, mapping any surviving bitou bush with GPS.

Car parking permits are limited, so please RSVP if you haven't already so I can help with car pooling.
